The Templar's Elixir is a book based around the topic of the Knight's Templar and aids. The challenge was to create a book cover that incorporated two random symbols and create the narrative for the book. The two symbols I was given were the cross from the Knights Templar and the red ribbon that represents aids awareness. I began by searching for these symbols and found a necklace with the Templars cross and the red ribbon. In photoshop I subtly added the ribbon in the enter of the cross and added a transparent ribboned effect wrapping around the necklace for dimension and additional symbolism for the red ribbon.
