2_22_22 is a short film of parasitic rice that has entered into my body. Consuming the rice has ultimately led to my demise as I fade into the darkness. I was inspired by horror films and their sound design in order to create an eerie atmosphere. As you listen to the music, disturbing and misplaced sounds can be heard underneath. Hidden like the parasites that contaminate the rice.
Space Dogs with audio is a digital collage made using photoshop and sounds. It depicts two large dogs on planets creating a ruckus while people watch from the clouds. The idea behind this audio clip was to showcase how people often observe conflicts without intervening. The intense overwhelming sounds of the commotion being heard is there to make you feel discomfort.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ is a chaotic mix between video games and dream-like visuals to reflect delirium. I created this video by filming the space I live in while adding other objects with After Effects. Often times when life gets busy and you lose days of precious sleep, a feeling of disembodied awareness takes over. The space around you seems familiar yet you see things that are not there.
February 7, 2022 is a documentation of a lava lamp with music added to create a narrative for the way the lava flows and cycles through the lamp. By documenting the lava lamp this way, it projects a sense of liveliness onto an object that does not contain life itself. As an avid lover and collector of lava lamps, making this short observational video of this lava lamp has sparked my interest in working with it again in the future.
